🚨 «It’s the Ukrainians who are paying the blood price.
And I’m surprised that the Ukrainians haven’t figured out that the Europeans are using them as a battering ram to inflict pain and punishment on the Russians. It’s disastrous for Ukraine, and they’re not going to defeat the Russians.
If the Russians are on the verge of defeat, you can rest assured that the Russians will escalate, and they will really escalate in a serious way.
The Russians are not going to lose this war.
What the Russians see happening in Ukraine is viewed by them as an existential threat on their doorstep, and if you think you’re losing, you’ll turn to extraordinary means, which is a way of saying that they will think long and hard about using nuclear weapons to rescue the situation,» comments Distinguished Service Professor of Political Science, John Mearsheimer, in our latest interview.➤ Watch the full podcast episode: https://t.co/9E6vfvJbvF
